Blogging Ehh...?

Well its been a long time that i haven't blogged so here i am trying to blogg. Its most certain that blogging became unpopular know that Facebook and other social networks are out exposing there careless acts to people. I do appreciate that these social norms in the internet are helpful in there ways but not 100%. Its just like anything, it has there ups and downs. What i feel about Facebook is not that its boring or useless but its time and control that concerns me. I had a Facebook before and know its temporarily deactivated, why because it took precious time from me and I couldn't control my actions towards managing my time nor social life. Facebook has its own social syndrome. It takes away a part of our life it is what you call in Economics not a complimentary but a substitute good. Not just Facebook but other social networks are becoming the hype of the 2011, and i believe social networks started not that long ago. That's how I see it, but you might see it completely different from another angle. That is why you must think twice before you make an irrational decision.

Ethan Frome Chunk 3 Chapters 7-9

Zenobia Frome aka Zeena is a "sickly" woman, a bother to Ethans life. She is like the antagonist of this novel. Ethan tries to get out if this place but Zeena does not want to leave and gives the excuse of she being really sick and that they are so poor they cannot affors anything. So Ethans life is stuck with her for ever until the end of there life, fortunaly Mattie appears and brings the house especially Ethan Frome to life, she brings her happynes, and joy, unlike Zeena she brings, whining, depression, and complains. Zeena is like a master-mind, she manipulates her surroundings/environment. She noticed how her illness was a strength to manipulate people. She is very sick indeed but not stupid or blind yet, so Ethan had to be carful with his actions. But at the end she is the one taking care of everyone.

Coming towards the end of the novel things start to rap up, and started to get a little crazy.

Mattie starts up with preparing the supper for the night. Zeena doesnt come down becouse she is having "complications" meaning she will die. Zeena brings out this news that her doctor told her to get a new hired girl. Ethan realized that she doesnt want Mattie in this house anymore, and he feels down but then he stands up towards Zeena with anger. Zeena says "She's a pauper that's hung onto us all after her father'd done his best to ruin us. I've kept her here a whole year it's somebody else's turn now." She is actually having revenge and an excuse to get rid of Mattie at any costs. Ethan still feels sad, and he hasnt told Mattie yet. So then he tells her, about the news, and they are both very upset. Unfortunatly Zeena finds out about the broken dish and ges angrier and makes her even more convincing for Mattie to leave. What a bomer. Basically Ethan is stuck with emotions and doesnt noe what to do, but he then recalls a story about a man escaping to a woman and live happily ever after. And so he thought of him and Mattie running away together. Ethan is now "prisoner for life, and now his one ray of light was to be extinguished." Theres no escape, he is poor and cannot escape at all period he is done for. But before MAttie leaves Ethan wanted to spent to with her and vise versa. They decided to ride a sled and throughout that ride he realized how the environment emphisized the connection of both of them. He recalls that every part of the environment there was this first time together doing something and that was there connection. They stop for a moment and decide to ride the sled again but this time towards the big elm tree, meaning commiting suicide, and happily ever after they go and go and speeds up like the speed of lighting, but right before they hit tree he sees the image of the olg gunt ugly monstrous looking guess who Zeena. And boom they crash. Fortunaly but unfortunaly they survive this "smash-up" but now they are both severly injured, MAttie is paralyzed and Ethan can barley move his hairs. At the end Zeena ended up taking care of both of them. Whew what a story, is the farmost craziest story i had read. Crazy huh. I never thought that there were books like this seruisly, im not a reading type but now it seems that reading books are fun and intersting to read. For now on that will be my resolution for the rest of my life.

What will you have done if you were in place of Ethan?

Does suicide solve problems? If so why?

Does Zeena care her famaly members? Does she even care about her husband Ethan

Ethan Frome Chunk 2 Chapters: 4-6

Mattie, Zeenas cousin, was left alone because of family crisis (economically, and moraly). Well fortunally Zeena needed an aid and Mattie was gladly to help for an intercome of shelter and something to eat. Throught the year that she had stayed in the Frome's there house, she has beeing "quick to learn, but forgetful and dreamy." She is the light and the awakening of the Fromes, she is pretty, and healthy unlike Zeena whining and complaining all day long. Mattie admits that she is in love with Ethan, actually they both do. Mattie seems like a cool person, but Zeena does not think of her like that, in contrast she wants to get rid of Mattie, becouse she noticeed the hidden relationship beetween Ethan Mattie.

Ethan imagines himself with Mattie as a married couple spending the night together. ironically they do not do anything together instead they just started to mind there own business. Ethan was imagining, and Mattie was sewing. But they were both watching the cat and the fireplace.

Ethan then started to realize that the farm hasnt being sold yet and that he nor Zeena will be getting out from Starksfield. He noticed that Zeena was starting to act like his mother, never listening, always whining, sick all the time, pale and complaining. Ethan noticed his loniliness until Mattie arrived. Ethan passed by this graveyard and noticed a grave carvin and it was from Ethan From a relative and realized that he fears about how it is going to end up not only with him but with Zeena together as "merried" couple. The most valueble object that the Frome's own, not only it has being touched or seen, and reminded the merriage of Zeena and Ethan. Was brought down by Mattie for supper, Ethan noticed it and was shocked that he noticed, but then the cat that they saw came an dropped this valuable red pickle dish. Mattie got discouraged about this incident, and now she is filled with regrets. Then Ethans like no worry ill fix it, you just relax ok. So then Ethan brought up the thing about marriage and Mattie seemed blushed. Then they started to keep in mind that Zeena is going to arrive in no time, and realized that they have only a spare of time for them to be together, unfortunaly Ethan didnt even bust out with a move like getting next to her, at least hugging her but instead he kissed the sewing material that Mattie was using. Ethan still beliefs and is determined that their night together is an image of what their future is going to be like. Ethan plans to fix the dish with glue, he is realy determined to fix it before Zeena comes. So he goes and gets the glue but obstacles had to occur and took him time to reach the house, by that time Zeena already arrived and so he had no chance to fix itbut he can still fix it while Zeena closes her eyes. No doubt that Mattie worries about the if Zeena notices the broken dish.

What will you do if youre wife is gone for the night and you are stuck with another woman you love, all alone in a house?

Why dont they do anything?

Why did Mattie brought the dish ? Did she now what it meant? Will she be in sever trouble, if so how severe?

Ethan Frome Chunk 1 Chapters: 1-3

Ethan frome, so far one of my favorite books, it was realy discriptive in detail. I felt if i was the narrator telling this story to some one. Well Ethan Frome is poor man living with his wife Zeena (in Starkfield) whom is severly sick. He wanted to be an engineer but instead he stayed in Starkfield becouse of family problems. Ethan seems like a tough guy. but very silent, very known, and respected, jeoulesed, straightforward, and realy responsible. He approaches the complications of his love towards Mattie, Zeenas cousin and also her assistance in the house. Ethan is not only merried to Zeena but he then becomes in love with Mattie, and makes belife that Ethan and Mattie are a merried couple. It is somewhat like a wierd romantic novel but true.

Ethan went to pick up Matie at a dance from church. He spies on her before picking her up and sees her an Eady dancing together. He then beecomes jealous and realizes that Mattie gives this affection towards Ethan. Ethan thinks that becouse of Zeenas illness she will not notice anything strange about him, unfortunaly for Ethan he was wrong. She noticed that he shaved. And Ethan doesnt shave that often. Mattie does not want anything with Eadt, but she does with Ethan. And so Ethan feels really happy that Mattie chose him over Eady. Its crazy that in life if youre merried meaning all the love you have will only go to your wife, that there will be no other woman to share it, but here Ethan shares his love to Mattie well not yet but it seems that they will bit be happy. But to take in mind that Zeena is still out there gives Ethan the "CHILLS". So then they walk towards the farmhouse through this dark shadowing cold snow and they walk like a couple, holding hands, and putinf his arm over her. There all happy but then they reach to the house and Zeena opens the door and Ethan is shocked. Basiccally Ethan is cheating his wife, i mean its not right to do that but if he doesnt feel a love connection with Zeena well he then has to find someone else to cheer him up, in that case Mattie does cheer him up in fact Mattie brings this life, and awakening in the house. Ethan is like a very silent guy througout the text, as a matter of fact everyone is silent throughout the text. Towards the end Zeena is packed and plans to go to a place in order to see a doctor. Then Eathn realizes that he will be alone one night with Mattie so he makes this excuse to not take her in order to stay with Mattie. It worked and now they are together for just one night, one precious night.

Why does Ethan prefer Mattie then Zeena?

Can love be shared with another woman even if you are merried?

Can jeoulousy determine your affection to someone?

Winter "Break" Assignments?

As of now we should know that winter break is the most stress full break off all breaks of the year. It is the time of the year that we get 3 times the work form school work wich depends on the grade level and type of class. I ask myself what happened to the christmas spirit of enjoying our winter break and actually have a winter "break" not winter break assignments. But thats cool with me it lets me be on task and not slack around. Its better than not doing anything. There's some strengths and weaknesses from these winter "breaks" assignment's. The weaknesses will be that it takes most of our winter "break" and we don't get to enjoy our little vacation. In the other hand it helps us exercise our minds, and gain more knowledge, like i said its better than not doing anything, in my perspective these winter break assignments test us how responsible are we and hope me mange time. However "it is the most stressful time of the year" not realy.

"How Soccer Explains The World" Chunk #3 ch. 8-10

The unlikely theory of globalization "How soccer explains the world", by Franklin Foer, tells us in such detail The Discreet Charm of Bourgeois Nationalism, Islams Hope and American Culture Wars... It focuses on FC Barcelona, Foers favorite team. Foer even tells us the mottoe for Barcelona "mas que un club" meaning more than just a club. "I agree. It's more than a club; it's one of God's greatest gifts to leisure time" says Foer. IN the last chapter Foer exposes the hysterical talk show hosts and old-school sportswriters who ridicule a game they've never understood. And says "They feel like America is being bludgeoned over the head with globalization" which i do agree. Even so soccer may not be a "sport" for America just like Foer says and quotes the Conservative congressman that "I think it is important for all those young out there, who someday hope to play real football, where you throw it and kick it and run with it and put it in your hands, a distinction should be made that football is democratic, capitalism, whereas soccer is a European socialist "sport"." So know Franklin Foer had explored the globalization and transnational capitalism and how they're both intertwined with the world's most popular sport in How Soccer Explains the World: An Unlikely Theory of Globalization..

Why does America loves soccer more than before?

Will Foer be able to convince people with this novel?

"How Soccer Explains The World" Chunk # 2 ch. 4-7

"How Soccer Explains The World", by Franklin Foer, tells about Alan's life and his brutality. In chapter 4 Foer talks more about hooliganism in England and the main one that starts it is Alan whom Foer met in a bar/pub. Foer shows us that soccer can be violent sometimes (hooliganism) which it started in the late 90's. The next chapter Foer tells us that Brazil plays soccer transcendentally meaning Brazil goes off limits when playing soccer. Then he depicts money/economy by propaganda of franchise from soccer. He then talks about Pele an anti-cartolas and the biography of the economic history of Brazil. In the last part Foer focuses on a Nigerian import to a top Ukrainian club team, and "The New Oligarchs," an excellent overview on soccer's shift from paternalistic industrialists like the Agnellis (owners of Juventus) to new-styled (oligarchs) meaning a from of government.

Does Foers anecdotes support his claims? Can he still support without his anecdotes?

Why is soccer the negative object of this text? Does it really explains the World?

"How Soccer Explains The World" Chunk # 1ch.1-3

"How Soccer Explains The World", by Franklin Foer, illustrate to us the hooliganism of Serbian soccer, and how it channels the villain named Arkan into shooting squads (gangs) of Serbians massacring the Croatians, and the relationship between the football club Red Star Belgrade and the Serbian paramilitaries who committed cruelty after cruelty against the Bosnians and Croats in the beginning of the collapse of the former Yugoslavia. He then addresses the Protestant-Catholic hate fest that is the Glasgow Derby. Of course, mindful of his audience, he spends more time influencing the Glasgow Rangers and their hatefully bigoted Protestant supporters than he does on the equally unpleasant and bigoted Catholic supporters of Glasgow Celtic. Finally, Foer tells us the bandwagon community (Jew's), had no respect from others not even when playing soccer, and their Jew football history.

What is Art?

Most of us don't realize that art can be anything.. picture.. drawing..artificial wants.. anything etc..
Art has nothing to do with how good you draw.. is how you make of it.. the passion.. every stroke it took from you to do it.. forget the negative comments from other people is you're work by the way you spend time on it so you make the judging not the people... yet we still struggle to make that perfect eye or that nice 3d horse free handed Art is not perfect just like anyone.. nevertheless we think that we were born "talented" but the truth is that it takes some practice.. its not easy to be an "artist"... the passion you put in to it determines the qualty of your work regardless of it.. art is undefined.. !!You define it!!
